According to physicists, activating the Integratron as originally designed, with its massive Tesla coil acting as an unprotected energy generator, could create a pulse of energy capable of knocking out electricity for a 15-mile radius. This potential consequence was never tested as the machine was not completed.
“What we've come to learn is that many physicists have said if this thing was actually turned on as kind of being a massive, unprotected generator of energy, that it would create a pulse of energy that would probably knock out electricity for 15 miles.”
