Adam Neumann stated that his difficult childhood experiences, including frequent moves and financial instability, made him resilient in business. He believes that having faced significant challenges at a young age means that no subsequent business problem can feel insurmountable.
“And I think as I was building businesses, it was never tougher than when I was a kid. So there's nothing that could happen that was that bad.”
“And I think sort of, because I do want to make a difference in the world, and I do want to make it a better place. I think comes from her and from how she took care of all those patients.”
“And in hindsight, I love the childhood that we had.”
